This course plays a central role in the security management process in an organization. With the organization continuously facing a dynamic threat environment, the need for regular risk assessment and mitigation is very essential for organizations to continue their business operations. Thus this course begins with the introduction to the fundamentals of risk, its characteristics and its implications to business organizations. Besides, the risk management processes are also discussed in detail to enable the students to acquire necessary application skills.
