Introduction to Electronic Security

This course of study   plays a central role in a security management program. It begins with the introduction to the fundamental principles involved in basic electronics and electromagnetic spectrum. Next the discussion evolves around the applications of electronics in security functions. Lastly, various electronic security applications and systems are explored to determine their effectiveness and reliability. To a large extent, this course is designed to help students develop operational cognitive skills and to a lesser extent operational psychomotor skills in electronic security operations.
